Confirmation II Class Session Schedule 2011-2012

by FRIDAY FEBRUARY 3rd, 2012:

~CONFIRMATION HEIGHT FORM (For proper robe size)
~CONFIRMATION NAME FORM (you should choose a Saint name which you have researched and write a brief paragraph explaining why you chose the name)

YOUR COMPLETED CHRISTIAN SERVICE PACKETS
AND
SPONSOR FORMS (SIGNED BY PASTOR OF THE SPONSOR'S PARISH)
ARE DUE BY FRIDAY MARCH 2nd, 2012.

This will give time over the February break to complete hours and packets if necessary. Any student unable to download and print may pick up copies at rectory (please send an e-mail to janelle@beld.net to request in advance).

SPECIAL NOTE TO CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: You will meet for 6 sessions from January - April. Your Christian Service from your school MAY be used for Confirmation but you MUST complete the Christian Service Packet and all other forms by the deadline.

Candidates are allowed only three absences. Out of respect for your Confirmation II class leader, please call the teacher before the class begins to let him/her know about any absences. Attendance will be taken each week.

Regular sessions run 75 minutes. MOST CLASSES ARE SCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY MORNINGS/EVENINGS.

All candidates are expected to attend Holy Mass each week and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) at least once during the academic year.
