The Parish Office will be closed on Monday, September 6th in celebration of Labor Day.

NOTE:
We have been advised by the Archdiocese that the requested offering for an “Announced” Mass may not be above $10.00 and for an “Unannounced” Mass not above $5.00. A person may, if they choose, make a more generous offering and a person may request a Mass even if they cannot make an offering.
We will be in touch shortly with all who have pre-arranged Masses regarding this matter.
All offerings at St. Thomas More go to the support of the parish.

2010 CATHOLIC APPEAL
“CALLED TO LOVE AND SHARE”
As of Friday, September 3rd, we have reached $45,202.00 which is 80.7% of our parish goal for this year’s appeal. 174 contributions have brought us to this point. With $10,798.00 still to raise to reach our goal we appeal to those who have not yet contributed to join those of us who have. At this point we are in the “share” phase and a portion of contributions made at this point comes back to us. If you can help and choose to help please know that your support will be greatly appreciated.

SPECIAL ANNUAL APPEAL 2009-2010
WE VALUE OUR PLACE TO WORSHIP – WE SUPPORT OUR PARISH
As of Thursday, July 8, our gross in gifts from 339 contributions was $64,282.00 for which we are enormously grateful. We know the care and sacrifice behind those gifts.
This marks the 4th SPECIAL ANNUAL APPEAL since our resumption of this form of fund raising after the school property was no longer leased and each year its importance to our being able to survive as a parish grows. To the 21.36% whose care prompted their response “THANK YOU”.
SAINT THOMAS MORE PARISH was established in APRIL of 1938. In the intervening years it has served the Catholic community of this part of Braintree and the larger community as well. That service, however, calls for the support of the community. This annual appeal offers all the known households in the parish an opportunity to manifest their support.

HOST, WINE AND CANDLE DONATIONS
For the month of September the hosts and wine consecrated and shared with the faithful of our parish as well as the tabernacle lamp which burns perpetually and all other candles lighted for Masses and services in our parish during September have been donated in memory of Armando V. Agnitti on his anniversary by the Agnitti & Reid Families.
We ask that you keep Armando V. Agnitti in your thoughts and prayers.
