We want to thank those from our parish who participated in the St. Vincent de Paul Friends of the Poor Walk and raffle. There were 68 walkers this year including some from St. Jerome Parish, North Weymouth. They included 16 Confirmation candidates, several parent and child pairs and a few entire families. The walk raised in excess of $4,300 to assist those among us who are finding themselves in need of support during these difficult times. The accompanying raffle added $1,024. There were 1,250 pounds of clothing (157 bundles) as well as 1000’s books.
