~ 25th and 50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY ~ Cardinal Seán O'Malley, O.F.M. Cap. invites all couples of the Archdiocese of Boston who are marking their 25th and 50th wedding anniversary in 2012 to join him for the annual celebration at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 11:30am. Mass will include a renewal of marriage vows by all participating anniversary couples. Family members and friends of the participating couples, as well as the general public, are welcome to attend. A formal invitation (including general information and directions) will be mailed (beginning in May) to the home of the Anniversary couple. WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS On Sunday, April 29th the Church celebrates World Day of Prayer for Vocations. Pope Benedict XVI is inviting Catholics all over the globe to participate by praying and encouraging Vocations to the Priesthood and Consecrated Life. The Holy Father’s Theme for this year is: “Vocations, the Gift of the Love of God.” Please pray that God may bless your parish with vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.
