Prayer Group -
Praise & Worship

PRAISE AND WORSHIP BRINGS US INTO THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD. THIS OCCURS NEAR THE START OF THE PRAYER MEETING AND CAN LAST FOR FIVE TO TEN MINUTES.

DURING PRAISE AND WORSHIP MOST OF THE ATTENDEES VERBALIZE THEIR PRAISE. OFTEN THE USE OF TONGUES CAN BE HEARD BEFORE THE PRAISE AND WORSHIP ENDS. HOWEVER, MANY OF THOSE PRESENT WILL CARRY OUT THEIR PRAISE SILENTLY.

John 4:23 - 24 “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”

Psalm 100:4 “Enter his gates with Thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”

Psalm 150 “Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in his mighty heavens.

Praise him for his acts of power; praise Him for his surpassing greatness.

Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet; praise Him with the harp and lyre.

Praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute.

Praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
